Internships at SocietyROW

Are you a college student or recent graduate looking for a more hands on experience? Our internships are an excellent way for YOU to gain experience in a new environment, growing personally while they are contributing to the goals of company that are both innovative and diverse.

Every 4 months SocietyROW takes on a set of 4 college students and/or recent graduates to take part in various internships. The internships provide a very hands on experience in the fields of digital media, graphic design, creative direction and brand ambassadors. All internships program run a course of 16 weeks @ 22 hours a week. Over the course of the internship all interns will be assessed on a bi-weekly bases. At the end of the internship the top performing interns may be offered a part time position with SocietyROW.

SocietyROW Internship Schedule:

Tuesday through Thursday

Times: Weekdays 10a to 3p or 3p to 7p, Saturdays 9a to 4p

Digital Media Internship


SocietyROW is seeking a part time Digital Media Assistant. This position reports to both the Creative Director and Asst. Creative Director, and will be tasked with assisting both throughout the course of the internship. 

We are seeking an individual who has great interpersonal skills, is a self-starter, and has the ability to work in an open and creative group environment. In this role you will work closely with models, singers, dancers, actors, makeup artist, and etc. They will assist in coordinating publicity events and make sure the client knows where to go and what to do. Other responsibilities may include writing press releases, releasing statements, and attending events with staff and/or directors. They will essentially act as a liaison between the talent, journalists and the general public including brands and clients. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, strong knowledge and an awareness of the ever-changing fashion and entertainment industry.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage press clippings database 

  • Attend events within NYC with Directors & capture content

  • On set content capture

  • Social Media Planning 

  • Media Engagement 

  • Digital Media Design 

  • Assist with press photo handling – resizing, filing, and distributing talent/artist press photos. 

  • Research new and interesting ways to showcase talent/artist across all forms of media 

  • Publicity research tasks (e.g. researching photographers, stylists, makeup, etc)

Requirements

  • Computer, Mac preferred 

  • Pursuing or in possession of Bachelor’s degree in Publicity/Public Relations/Social Media 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail 

  • Good organizational skills 

  • Proficiency in Google Drive & DropBox 

  • Proficiency in Social Media 

  • Ability to multitask 

  • Knowledge of brand and current talent/artist 

  • Have a smart phone with internet access

Creative Assistant Internship


As Creative Assistant you will play an active role the development of SocietyRows community. You will help create ideas & projects that is relevant to our customer base. The responsibilities of the Creative Assistant include assisting the communication design, interactive design, and concept forward in any work assigned. You will also work on the appointment appropriate staff to achieve moods of projects such as photoshoots in house and out of house. You will work  with the all departments such as PR, Media, Graphic, and Style. You will work hand and hand with the Creative Director to ensure projects development and executed efficiently.  You will help ensure the brands vision stays consistent internally & externally and goals are being met. of each Department to ensure goals of each department are exceeding expectations. He/she will assist the Creative Director and Directors in suggesting as well as implementing actions to increase impact of the overall brand visually.

Responsibilities

  • Work with departments to help ensure content is being produced in a timely manner via what’s app

  • Oversee Booking and Scheduling via email and pass on info to staff or department as needed via whats app and email

  • Assist on Mood Boards and Storyboarding for Ad Campaigns, Photoshoots and etc.with creative director and other directors/coordinators (with directors) via chat and weekly focus group phone call

  • Oversee Wardrobe of pulls, pickups, return, designer request and that designers fit mood board

  • On set assistant styling

  • Manage Pull Calendar

  • Create and Organize Production Sheets/Call Sheets

Requirements

  • work, intern or volunteer experience within the fashion industry (i.e retail, visual merchandising, personal styling, fashion design, fashion blogging & etc)

Brand Ambassador

Graphic Design Internship


Society Row is looking for Junior Graphic Designer. Applicant should be skilled to very skilled in programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Html, web design & ETC.

We are seeking dedicated and highly motivated applicants to start immediately working on various projects. Such projects include design of flyers, brochures, photo editing, template creation, BTS content and etc. This is unpaid internship but a great learning experience and could lead to a permanent part time position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist multiple projects from concept to completion (promotional material- flyers, t-shirts, layout of website/magazine, business cards)

  • Execute & create templates

  • Create Programs & design concepts that meet business objectives.

  • Assist in the Creation of Comp Cards, Portfolios, Look Books & Etc

  • Assist in editing photos/images

  • Typography

  • Assist on Projects pertaining to Digital Media Content

  • Meet the brand’s objectives • Work closely with designers to develop + carry-out appropriate + effective design concepts

  • Participate in the creative brainstorming process with the team

SocietyROW is seeking a part time Brand Ambassadors. This position reports to both the Creative Director and Asst. Creative Director, and will be tasked with assisting both throughout the course of the internship.We are seeking an individual who has great interpersonal skills, is a self-starter, and has the ability to work in an open and creative group environment. In this role you will assist in attending events and essentially capturing content. You will also assistant at SocietyROW events to make sure the client knows where to go and what to do. All assistants will work with other team members and directors at these events. The position requires strong organizational and management skills.
